In-Product Privacy Notices
Rules for all notices: optional items are never pre-selected; "Turn on" and "Not now" have equal weight on screen; declining never blocks setup or the basic function; each notice is shown in the device language and can be reopened later in Settings › Privacy. A component may only show a notice through the shared consent dialog of the settings app; it may not draw its own.

LuminaOS services
This projector's software, updates and Lumina services are provided by Chengdu Hotack Technology Co., Ltd. To keep it secure, the projector checks for software updates once a day while connected. Update checks send a hashed serial number, a random installation ID, the model and the firmware version. They cannot be switched off.
You can also allow, now or later in Settings › Privacy:
☐ Diagnostics: send a diagnostic report when you report a problem. You confirm each report before it is sent.
☐ Weather by location: show local weather on the ambient screen, using your IP address to estimate your area.
☐ Statistics: send anonymous usage statistics to help improve LuminaOS.Voice recognition, the AI assistant and the Alexa/Google Home link ask for your permission when you first use them.

Implementation: switching an item off stops the related requests at once and clears local queues. The page is the only writer of the consent record. FIX-03 FIX-12
3. Report a problem (diagnostics) N-03
Send a diagnostic report?
To help us find the problem, the projector creates a diagnostic report and uploads it to Hotack's server (Frankfurt for European users). The report contains system and app logs, the list of installed apps, the Wi-Fi network name, local IP address, names of paired Bluetooth devices and the serial number. It may also contain recent website domains if the security check is on.
Our support team may use AI services to help analyse the report. The report is deleted after 30 days. You will receive a ticket number with which you can ask us to delete it earlier.
Nothing is sent unless you select Agree.

4. LuminaHome first start N-04
Welcome to LuminaHome
LuminaHome loads the rows and apps for your country from our server, and looks up titles with movie-database services when you search. This uses your country, language, the installation ID and your IP address.

Show local weather?
The projector will ask our weather service every 30 minutes. Your approximate area (about 5 km) is estimated from your IP address and is not stored. When this is off, the ambient screen shows the clock only and makes no request.

Use voice commands?
When you hold the voice button, what you say is sent to Hotack's voice service (Frankfurt for European users) and its speech-recognition partners to turn it into a command. The names of installed apps are sent so that "open …" works. Recordings and text are not stored after the reply. The projector listens only while you hold the button and shows a microphone icon while it does.

The remote works directly with your projector over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth after you pair them with the code shown on the projector. Nothing is sent to us for that.

8. Projector: voice-assistant cloud link (Lumina Go receiver) N-08
Control this projector with Alexa or Google Home?
The projector will keep a secure connection to Hotack's cloud service and show a cloud icon while linked. It reports power, volume, mute and input status about every 5 minutes and receives the commands you give your voice assistant. Amazon or Google receive the projector status under their own privacy policies.
You can switch this off here at any time. Switching off or unlinking deletes the link data at once.

Security check warns you when an app contacts a known malicious website. To do this it keeps a log of the website domains apps contact, on the projector only (2 days; warnings 30 days). The log is not uploaded, except inside a diagnostic report you choose to send. On / Off

13. Whale TV terms: pointer line N-13
This projector also runs LuminaOS services (software updates, voice, remote control, screen mirroring) provided by Chengdu Hotack Technology Co., Ltd. under its own privacy policy. Manage them in Settings › Privacy or read the policy at legal.luminago.app.
Implementation: one protocol entry added to our product group in the Zeasn Terms-of-Use service, as information only; it is not a consent item.
