This page tells you, before you buy, what data the projector generates, what data our connected services receive, where the data is kept, and how you can access, export, share and delete it. Personal data is also covered by our Privacy Policy.
1. Data generated by the projector (product data)
The projector generates the data below during normal use. Unless Section 2 says otherwise, it stays on the projector and is deleted by a factory reset.

Sensors: a microphone is present only in the voice remote control, and audio is sent to the projector only while you hold or tap the voice button. Models with automatic focus or keystone correction have a camera and/or distance and tilt sensors that measure the projected image. Their readings are processed in real time on the projector and are not stored or transmitted.
Real-time capability: the projector does not stream product data continuously to us. Connected services send event-based messages as described in Section 2. The only service that keeps a permanent connection is the optional voice-assistant cloud link (2.9).
How you can access product data on the device: settings and identifiers are shown in Settings; you can export the identifiers and the records held by our services through Settings › Privacy › Export my data (ZIP of JSON files, one per service, plus a summary) FIX-12; you can create a full diagnostic report and save it to a USB drive in Lumina Manager [confirm feature].

Pre-installed or downloaded third-party apps are separate services. Their providers are the data holders for the data they collect. See Third-Party Services.
